My specialties.

  • Trans Individuals & LGBTQ+ Folx

I work with children, adolescents, and adults all across the gender spectrum and in the LGBQ+ TGNC community. As a member of WPATH, I abide by the ethics and standards of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health, the gold standard in the world.

I’m here to be your biggest source of support as we navigate what comes next. Whether you’re seeking care for your child or starting your own journey of self-discovery, I’m able to provide education for families, plan for next steps, and review co-occuring mental health issues in the most validating environment.

For trans individuals, the world of puberty blockers, hormone replacement therapy, gender-affirming surgeries, and changing name markers can be overwhelming—I’m here to help with that, too.

I’m happy to write gender-affirming letters for procedures, school purposes, or for any other institution that may require it, with your permission.

  • Women's Empowerment & Relationship Endings

The category of “women’s issues” is broad and all-encompassing. I’m here to empower you and remind you of your strength in a world where your needs and worth are not always recognized.

I can help you through the ending of a relationship or divorce and can offer perspective, information, and support through that difficult process.

Abuse in relationship can take many different forms: mental, emotional, physical, financial. The transition into independence is often overwhelming. I can give you the resources and compassion to make this stage of life a bit easier.

I also have experience working with individuals through all stages of pregnancy and postpartum.

  • Sexuality & Non-Traditional Relationships

Let’s talk about it! I’m validating and non-judgmental in discussing your sexual identity and helping you through that journey, whether that identity is something you’d like help defining, or something you’re already comfortable with.

I have experience working with individuals in “non-traditional” romantic and a/sexual relationships and approach these issues with compassion, understanding, and some humor, when appropriate!

If polyamory, kink/BDSM, ethical non-monogamy, or anything that deviates from “vanilla” is your lifestyle, I’m happy to hold these relationships in a respectful light and discuss from an educated perspective.

  • General Counseling

Of course, if you don’t fit into any of the above “boxes,” that doesn’t mean we can’t work together!

Like all therapists, I’m also trained in the basics of all mental health diagnoses and can help with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and most other psychological issues that may be bothering you.

I have worked extensively in treating depression through traditional and new modalities and can bridge connections to psychiatrists for medication management, if that’s something you’re interested in (but important to note that I DO NOT require you to be on medication in order to be in therapy!).
